1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PackRecap, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old to use PackRecap.

2. Use of Service

PackRecap is a tool for tracking and sharing your trading card pack openings. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your pack openings
• Not manipulate luck scores or leaderboards
• Not use the service for commercial card grading or authentication
• Not upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Use a username that is not offensive or misleading
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

PackRecap requires a persistent internet connection. Offline usage is not supported.

3. Pack Openings & Luck Scores

Pack openings in PackRecap reflect real-world card pulls that you have completed and photographed. PackRecap does not simulate, randomize, or generate card outcomes. Luck scores are statistical comparisons calculated from your actual pulls relative to other users.

Market prices shown are estimates sourced from third-party data and may not reflect actual sale prices. PackRecap is not a marketplace and does not facilitate card trading or sales.

Opening limits per subscription tier:

• Free users: 4 pack openings per month
• Ultra subscribers: unlimited openings
• Additional openings available via Recap credits (3 credits per opening)
• Share bonus: free users earn 1 Recap credit per week by sharing a recap

4. In-App Purchases & Recap Credits

PackRecap offers optional in-app purchases through Apple App Store and Google Play. All purchases are processed by the respective platform and subject to their terms.

Recap credits are a virtual currency used within PackRecap:

• Credit packages are available in quantities of 10, 30, 70, and 150
• Credits can be used for: extra openings (3 credits) or premium share unlock (4 credits)
• Credits have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred between accounts

Ultra subscription offers unlimited openings and premium features, available as monthly or yearly billing.

All purchases, including credits and subscriptions, are non-refundable. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google as the payment processor.

5. Sharing & Public Content

PackRecap allows you to share recap cards publicly:

• Shared recap cards are publicly accessible via a unique link
• Shared content includes: luck score, card names, rarity, and market values
• You control which openings are shared
• Premium sharing (all themes + animated format) requires an Ultra subscription or Recap credits

6. Content Moderation

Uploaded photos are automatically screened for inappropriate content. Users can report others for inappropriate names, cheating, or harassment. We review all reports and may take action including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.

If you believe your content was incorrectly flagged or your account was unfairly sanctioned, you can contact us to appeal the decision.

7. Anti-Cheat Policy

We use automated systems to detect fraudulent openings, including timing analysis, statistical anomaly detection, and photo duplicate detection.

Consequences of violations:

• Automated scoring may affect your leaderboard eligibility
• Trust score below threshold results in leaderboard exclusion
• Repeated violations escalate: warning → temporary ban (7 days) → permanent ban
• Users can appeal anti-cheat decisions by contacting support

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms:

• Temporary bans expire automatically after the specified period
• Permanent bans can be appealed via email at packrecapapp@gmail.com
• Upon account deletion, your data is soft-deleted and permanently purged after 30 days

9. Intellectual Property

PackRecap and its original content are protected by intellectual property laws. Pokémon is a trademark of Nintendo/Creatures Inc./GAME FREAK inc. PackRecap is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company International.

10. Limitation of Liability

PackRecap is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for the accuracy of card valuations or luck scores.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
