1. Age Requirement

PackRecap is not intended for users under 13 years of age. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and data.

2. Data We Collect

When you use PackRecap, we collect the following information:

• Account information (name, email address, username)
• Authentication data (hashed password, social login provider IDs)
• Device information (device type, camera access permission status)
• Photos of your card pulls that you upload, including photo metadata (timestamps)
• Opening history, luck scores, and streak data
• Anti-cheat data (trust scores, timing data, photo fingerprints)
• Subscription and purchase history
• Share activity and platform analytics
• Two-factor authentication secrets (stored encrypted)
• Browser/app local storage for authentication tokens

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the PackRecap service
• Calculate luck scores and generate recap cards
• Maintain leaderboards and community features
• Detect and prevent fraudulent activity via our anti-cheat system
• Process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails (account, subscription, moderation)
• Track share events for analytics (platform, card type)
• Process card photos with AI for card recognition

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• RevenueCat — in-app purchase and subscription management (user ID, purchase data)
• Cloudflare R2 — cloud storage for user-uploaded card photos
• Google, Discord, Apple — social authentication (OAuth tokens, profile data you authorize)
• Google Gemini Vision API — card photo recognition (photos are sent for AI processing and are not retained by Google)
• Google reCAPTCHA v3 — bot protection on website forms (collects interaction data and IP address)
• Google Analytics — anonymous website usage statistics
• Postmark / AWS SES — transactional email delivery

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

5. Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored securely on servers located in the European Union. Photos are stored using encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2).

Authentication tokens are stored in browser localStorage or native device storage (Capacitor Preferences). Two-factor authentication secrets and recovery codes are stored encrypted on our servers.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, your data is soft-deleted and permanently purged after 30 days. Anti-cheat records may be retained for up to 12 months to maintain platform integrity.

6. Content Moderation

Uploaded photos are screened for inappropriate content. Repeated violations may result in account suspension. Users who believe their content was incorrectly flagged can contact us to appeal.

7. Camera & Photos

PackRecap requires camera access for card scanning. When you grant camera permission:

• Photos are processed locally on your device and uploaded to Cloudflare R2 for storage
• Photo metadata (timestamps) is used for anti-cheat verification
• Photos may be sent to Google Gemini Vision API for card recognition — the AI provider does not retain your photos after processing
• You can revoke camera permission at any time via your device settings

8. Internet Requirement

PackRecap requires a persistent internet connection to function. All features depend on our API servers. Offline usage is not supported.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data (via Profile > Delete Account)
• Export your data in a portable format (via Profile > Export Data)
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Request human review of automated anti-cheat decisions
